Low-Speed Vehicle Decal & Fob Registration

This form is for Members requesting a decal and fob for Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV) access on the Sidecamp path. Path access is offered for LSV use by registered/licensed Watersound Club Members as a convenient way to travel from Watersound Origins to Shark’s Tooth and from Shark’s Tooth to Origins and its surrounding areas.

Please note that only street-legal LSVs are eligible, and valid registration and proof of insurance will be required for approval. Due to the gravel surface, narrow width, and frequent use of the adjacent dirt road by construction vehicles, access to the path is limited to registered LSVs only. Walking, running, and biking on the path are not permitted.

Each membership is limited to one (1) decal and one (1) fob, which designates you as an approved user of the Sidecamp path. Guests may also accompany you on the LSV. This decal is for identification purposes only and must be displayed on your LSV.

Access to the Sidecamp path is available daily from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM and requires use of your key fob in conjunction with the decal and your physical or digital Membership card. This decal does not grant access to any other Club amenities (including Camp Creek amenities, The Beach Club, the Sporting Preserve, and the Wild Heron Security Gate) and does not replace your existing vehicle RFID tag(s) or fob(s).

Personal carts are not permitted to access Sporting Preserve areas or any Watersound Club golf courses under any circumstances. Driving off course to access the Sporting Preserve or operating personal carts on Watersound Club golf courses is strictly prohibited.

Decal installation and fob pick-up are available seven days per week at the Shark’s Tooth Golf Shop or the Origins Member Services Office. In anticipation of a large number of requests, you will be contacted by the appropriate office via email or text message when your decal and fob are ready for pick-up and installation.

This LSV decal and fob are in addition to your existing vehicle RFID tag(s) and fob(s) and does not replace them. Your current tag(s) will still be required for access to the Beach Club and Camp Creek amenity gates, while the LSV decal will be used in conjunction with your fob specifically for entry at the Sidecamp path connecting Shark’s Tooth to the Origins Community.

The Club team will not provide “loose” decals; the decal must be installed on the registered LSV by a team member.

This access is offered as a courtesy and is temporary. Access will be revoked in the future as construction and safety needs arise.

Please note: Processing for LSV access requests is temporarily delayed due to a technical issue with the access gates and key fob programming. Fobs and decals will be issued once the system is fully operational. Your designated team will follow up with next steps as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.
