FITNESS CLASS OFFERINGS

A full calendar of group exercise classes and wellness activities taught by qualified instructors is available each week. There are numerous ways to find your breath and remember to inhale and exhale, from high-intensity cycling programs to aqua board yoga. Additional Wellness Center features include spacious locker rooms and the newest fitness equipment, in keeping with the Watersound Club experience.

Watersound Club Members and guests of Camp Creek Inn can take advantage of a wide variety of programs, training sessions, and equipment at the Watersound Club Wellness Center. Discover more details about our classes below.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Aqua Board Strong

You will love this low-impact, core stabilization workout on the aqua board that builds strength, flexibility, endurance, and balance all taking place on water in the adult lap pool. Limited to 7 participants.

Aqua Board Yoga

Enjoy a fun-filled challenging workout in the pool on top of an aqua fitness board! With each pose, you will activate your core muscles to maintain balance and posture giving you a total body workout. Savasana is extra juicy as you float along the gently waves listening to the sounds of nature. This class is sure to give you strength, relaxation and a lot of laughs. Limited to 7 participants.

Aqua Fit

Splash your way into a non-impact challenging workout utilizing the resistance of the water, aqua weights. Limited to 20 participants.

Aqua Zumba

Known as the Zumba® “pool party,” Aqua Zumba gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Join us in the adult Wellness pool for splashing, stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering all while burning calories. Limited to 20 participants.

Barre

A style of fitness that weaves together elements of dance, Pilates, and yoga into one workout that offers full-body strength training. Limited to 15 participants.

Co-Ed Mobility & Movement

Unleash Your Inner Athlete: Join our dynamic Co-Ed Mobility & Movement class and discover the secret to unlocking your athletic prowess. This action-packed session combines the power of bands and balls to improve stability and mobility, supercharging your performance on the golf course, tennis court, or pickleball arena. Unleash your inner champion and elevate your game to new heights in a fun, energizing atmosphere! Limited to 8 participants.

Cycle

Ride the hills, power the flats, race for speed with a variety of timed intervals to guarantee a sweat-acular workout! If you are new to cycling, come a few minutes early and we will get your bike set up! Limited to 17 participants.

Cycle Fusion

The class journey begins in the cycle studio with a 30-minute intense ride followed by 30 minutes of stretching and mobility work in our mindful movement studio. You will feel invigorated and ready to take on your day. Limited to 17 participants.

Cycle Fusion+

25 minutes of Cycling followed by 25 minutes of High Intensity Interval Training, utilizing light dumbbells, bands and bodyweight strength moves, sure to get your heart pumping and ready for the day. Limited to 17 participants.

Mat Pilates Fusion

Mat Pilates with a mix of Yoga designed lengthen and sculpt your body and to feel increased agility in your everyday movements. This class will focus on strengthening and lengthening your muscle groups with a primary focus on your core. Accessible for all levels. Limited to 18 participants.

Men’s Mobility & Movement

Unleash Your Inner Athlete: Join our dynamic Men’s Mobility and Movement class and discover the secret to unlocking your athletic prowess. Power Yoga

This is a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students move fluidly from one posture to the next while connecting their breath to their movements. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, and both physical and mental stamina. Limited to 20 participants.

Qigong Yoga

Qigong-Yoga is an integration of classic yoga blended with the power of Qigong. Although both stem from different cultural roots, they share a common goal: to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit. The essence of this integration lies in the acknowledgment that both practices offer pathways to deeper self-awareness, healing, and inner peace. They both emphasize the flow of energy, or ‘Qi’ in Qigong and ‘Prana’ in Yoga and teach us how to cultivate and manage this vital life force for our overall well-being. Limited to 18 participants.

Restorative Yoga

Are you feeling drained and overwhelmed? It’s time to restore and rejuvenate your mind and body with the power of Restorative Yoga! This practice will help you tap into a deep state of comfort using props like bolsters and blankets, while holding postures longer than traditional yoga classes to expand and revitalize your fascial and muscular system. This 60-minute class is perfect for both beginners and advanced yogis looking to find ease and balance. Limited to 18 participants.

Slow Flow

Designed to gradually introduce alignment and yoga postures as well as relaxation techniques serving as a great opportunity to transition to power yoga classes. Limited to 18 participants.

Total Body Conditioning

A challenging total body workout incorporating bodyweight, TRX, agility ladder, balance, mobility, resistance bands, and aerobic intervals make this a fun filled calorie burning hour. Limited to 16 participants.

Vin Yin

Vin Yin seamlessly blends the yang elements of an active vinyasa practice with the soothing restorative benefits of Yin yoga. Move through cleansing creative flows to engage and celebrate the body before easing into passive postures to reset the mind. Limited to 18 participants.

Yoga Sculpt

A powerful moderately paced Vinyasa Flow adding 1- to 5-pound hand weights. This class will challenge your endurance and balance as well as build your core. Class can be practiced without weights, all levels welcome. Limited to 18 participants.

Zumba

Join in this Latin-inspired dance workout that is all about having fun while burning some serious calories. Limited to 18 participants.


Sound Bath with Tere

Class will begin lying down. Blankets and props will be used along with Lavender eye pillows. Class will start with breath work to begin relaxing the mind and body, activating the parasympathetic nervous system. Once relaxed you’ll begin hearing different sound vibrations, these instruments will include a set of 7 crystal singing bowls set to 432 HZ, gong, rain stick and hand drum. Limited 18 participants.
